Rope tightener
This is a rope tightener for securing loads on vehicles. The screenshot shows 2 designs, however the design on the right is someone elses. I noticed that the line of force pulling on the original design was not in a straight line, so I designed one that was more centered. Only the left design is included in the DXF

The tensioner is engineered to pull along the c/l of the radii so as to not put as much tension on the teeth. As long as you don't use it for climbing I suppose either would work. Just make sure to radius all the edges so as not to cut your rope.

As Lloyd has pointed out, the offset is for a reason. If used in its intended configuration, the offset loop is inline with the load path.

Re-worked the file for better geometry and cut out two sizes. Thanks for posting these will def go in my camping bin.
