I have 50 feet of PVC line coming out of my air compressor, running up and along a ceiling beam, then returning to my dessicant dryer, then the plasma cutter. Seemed to work okay for me if I drained the compressor and line before cutting.

Recently bought a dryer and a one of those filters with what looks like toilet paper, between the dessicant and the plasma cutter. My cuts seem to have improved, but that was an additional + $600 expense.
