DXF file to HYCAD

Post by Rustic Raider Iron »

How do I open a dxf file in HYCAD? I need to scale some images that are already in dxf format.

Thanks

open HyCAD
goto "FILE"
goto "IMPORT"
find your dxf file and select it

this should open it for you

good luck

RR Iron,

why are you using HyCAD? Just wondering. I have viewed it and it's usable but not the best. It is FREE thou. I've worked on AutoCAD for years so I can navigate thru HyCAD semi-easily. Just as a suggestion you might look into downloading "ProgeCAD Smart".

It is competely free and pretty powerful for being free. It's better than HyCAD in my opinion.
Whatever you decide rock on. Let me know if you get anymore questions.

HYCAD was the drawing software that was installed on the computer and the i was showed by the place that i bought my table how to use it. Im going to take a look at installing the version that you told me about. Does it operate the same as HYCAD? I really appreciate all the help.
