These were primed and painted with the glitter sprinkled on right after the last coat of paint was applied.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of paint do you use Thanks

Rustoleum Painters touch 2X (and the same primer). we purchase this at a local Home Improvement store (Menards). I know Wall-Mart has a paint very similar to this but we haven't had good luck with that version
