Hi Ken,

I've attached the dxf I used to make the table top.

Thanks for the dxf download. What program do you use for design. I tried to open it a couple different programs but the size is way off. What was your table top size. If you have it in a svg that would also be helpful. I'm new to the cnc programing and design and learning on the fly thanks again.

Hi Ken,
When I opened the dxf file with Design Edge, it was very large. Perhaps Brendin's dxf is in metric units. I scaled it by 1/25.4 and the result looks about right.

Here is the svg (converted from dxf using Convertio). But the dimensions look smaller - only about 11.7" vs. 12.6 for the scaled dxf. So we will rely on Brendin to provide the actual dimensions for his part.

I imported the dxf into BricsCAD and converted from mm to inches. These results pretty much agree with the Design Edge version, so here is the drawing with dimensions.

You're welcome! Maybe you could lay it out on paper or cardboard using the dimensions in the drawing to see if it fits before cutting any metal.

As David has shown the handshake between software packages can be sometime less than accurate. Also posted here using an ink pen attached to the torch as a way to test draw a file to check its dimensions.

This is a good suggestion. I have done that myself on several occasions.

I was wondering that myself. I'm surprised we have not heard back from xnaron since he posted the dxf for the table top.
