Re: Tipeee FIRE PIT !
Some one contacted me today asking for my SVG of the fire pit. He reported back it's much cleaner than the one posted at the start of this thread. It's most likely due to AutoCAD R settings.
So here's the clean SVG of the 5 panels for anyone wanting it. No DXF in the zipped folder. SVG only.
You'll have to download the rest of the files from the first page of the thread for the other pieces. I only worked on the panels.

Re: Tipeee FIRE PIT !
A query gentleman please. Do you need to have the pipe all the way through?
Does it serve a purpose or can you just weld some pieces at the top to look like the wood of a teepee?

Re: Tipeee FIRE PIT !
I don't think the pipes serve any purpose. Although in the pic is looks like they extend through the bottom as legs. But you could use short pieces there also.

Re: Tipeee FIRE PIT !
Could the pipes be copper? I know that some will put rubber gardenhose pieces into copper pipe shorts and they make pretty colours in the fires.

Re: Tipeee FIRE PIT !
Defiantly would have allot more room without the pipe .. Next one I do wont have them so long just some stub's at the top .. Leaves more room to hang a grill if we have too

What gauge metal do you use on something like this? I've got a bunch of 10 gauge I'm trying to find a use for.

Re: Teepee FIRE PIT !
Like someone else has mentioned, I can't believe I am just now finding this. I guess, if nothing else, its a testament to how many great files have been shared on this site to have a gem like this waiting to be rediscovered.
Our troops Eagle advisor (this is what I call him) is a very proud Native American who travels around the state teaching and sharing his culture. Now my youngest is on his way to Eagle and I would like to make him one of these to say thanks for his dedication to the troop and my kids.
Thank you for making this available. Great Job! Great Idea! Great work!
