Mach 3 won't start plasma

I got mach 3 with a gecko 540 box and a 40a relay switch to start/stop the plasma. When I hook everything up I think right it won't fire and the relay won't click wen I press f5. Are there any boxes I need to check or uncheck to make this work. I got the wires on it right now and wen I touch one to the relay the plasma starts it's like I have it wired closed right now and it opens wen I touch the wire. I'm not sure of the setups either I have the license but it won't register with the program it keeps opening up in demo mode . Not sure if this has anything to do with it or not. Any help is appreciated thanks
