Can anyone suggest the best size to cut 3D projects as well as the best thickness of plate? I have never done one.

I normally use 3mm plate and my 3d figures stand about a ruler tall, but its up to you, about a year ago we did a lifesize wooden eagle out of 16mm wood was pretty epic.

IronHorse,

When I post my puzzles on here, I like to use 16ga metal (.06"). It makes things lighter, so the kids can play with them. I wish I could cut wood out with my laser, then I would really have no problem squeezing parts into each other.
