New guy ready to learn
Hello all, i am a welding student almost done with my program. I am currently doing the cad/cnc course and using the torchmate table and software to learn. I also work for a metal art studio, Studio G7 out of Albuquerque and run there jdt mad series table 4-8 hours a day but i just load files and run them. Looking to learn more and maybe find some cool projects to cut.

Welcome aboard Jake! That cad/cnc course sounds like a lot of fun! What specific cad/cam programs are you learning about and using? There is much to learn here - both in the way of technical help with software and hardware, as well as all the free cad files shared by other members and available to download. You can use the search function to find specific topics of interest, or to look for cut files.

Welcome aboard, the experience you are getting will look great on your resume after school. Or continuing at the Metal Art Studio putting your training to good use, you have your foot in the door, now show them what you have learned. Move from an operator to a planer/creator in project development, get some time under your belt, it never hurts.
