Ok just received my 5x10 STV cnc table with hypertherm 85
using inkscape right now. I am a do it your self kind of guy I have a car lift . bike lift, multiple welders, I am very mechinal and wanted to get into metal art so right now its starting out as a hobby.

Thanks for the update Roy! You've got a great setup there for table/cutter. I just love Inkscape - it's so much fun to use. What kind of car lift do you have? Mine is a Bendpak 4 post, but unfortunately I'm running short on space out in the garage - so a 914 up on the lift and a bunch of bikes parked underneath. I too use a Hypertherm 85 on my table - it's a great cutter and has served me well for the last 6 years or so. I've got the older Non-sync version, but I suppose if you just bought yours new you've got the 85 Sync. What sorts of car projects are you working on? Please feel free to share some photos of your setup and projects.

Atlas 4 post lift, no car projects yet got rid of my 74 gremlin had a 304 in it. I have a 2014 cvo harley ultra limited.
going to cut metal art diring the winter. just up graded my air compressor to 80 gallon I/R I built a air dryer.

I have a 2014 cvo harley ultra limited.

That Harley looks like a great machine - all around touring bike. I've got an old '82 iron head Sportster, but it's not too great for road trips.

That's a very nice looking setup you have there, and love your Harley. Those bike lifts also make great work tables. I like your copper air line layout as well. Are you planning to use a down draft or water table for you table? Or some combination of both. I use a water tray plus draft system on my Plasmacam 4x4 table. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Thanks plasmanewbie! If only my garage was as uncluttered as it was when the above photo was taken probably around 8 years ago. Here is what it looked like back in April of this year. Different car on the lift, and lots of clutter underneath. And it has only gotten worse in the last 8 months. I'll have to get a current photo so you don't feel so bad about yours.
