Need help with monogram letters and wreaths

Hi I have draft sight and Inkscape and I have the files needed to make monogram wreaths. The only only issue I have is I can't get them to stay as one piece... I've tried "union" but it's not working for me. Does anyone have any pointers thanks in advance

With Inkscape you use combine under path or group under Object. All the parts will need to be in paths.
you may need to use the arrow tool and pull a box around the whole thing first.

Ok I have a new issue I figured out how to make the wreath and name one piece. Save the file and open it in sheet cam and the last name is gone. Does anyone have any ideas. I'll post pictures

When you make changes you need to have the changes save to a path with clicking on object to path and save it.
If you change a name by just adding the letters they are not a path yet and will not show in SheetCam or in the saved file.
