Questions - What design software to use?

Guys, I have a question. If your were going to buy software that converts images, pdf's, etc. to dwg/dxf files what software and why? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

There are some expensive one and some free ones that can do a great job how good they work is determined by how much you want to work.
There are many different ones used here by members, some of the posted files cannot be read by other. It seems like the output file format or version is not as generic as you think. You may have a better time finding out what will work with your other software. People here will answer questions but you need to give them enough info when you form your question.
I like Inkscape (free) (large numbers of tutorials on YouTube) and it has done about 90% of what I want, that does not mean if will fit your needs.
Many here use Adobe and Corel and and have done great things with them, but they have different versions that will not output DXF or SVG files.

I just started out a couple of months ago, so don't base your decision off me. However I have been a avid inkscape user, and for free you can't beat it. After purchasing art work from Jason at cncdxffiles he guided me towards adobe illustrator. It does cost 20$ a month but I really like it! It does seem to suck having to learn a new software but they are comparable in ways. I researched on here what people thought inkscape vs adobe. I noticed a couple of guys wish they would have started out with adobe. From there I was sold on using it and to this day really enjoy it. That's just my fortake on it, like I said probably not valuable with me only having 4-5 months of experience
