Plasmacam DHC2, hypertherm PM65, Designedge is lastest release with advanced height, advance design and advanced machine control, Air is monitored at ~110psi right at the plasma cutter inlet monitored by pressure gauge, All settings are in accordance with the finecut low speed chart for the PM65 (it does say "not a dross free cut).
I changed to new OEM finecut consumable last night. I seem to be getting a lot more dross on top, especially at pierce, and more dross on back of parts. Is this normal or should i adjust parameters to get a better dross free cut? If pictures are needed I will have to wait til tonight after i get done teaching.

Re: Excessive dross
What thickness are you cutting? We (DHC2, Powermax 45XP) use the regular cutting charts with good quality, little dross. Do your parts have very intricate features?
