Valentines Gift
My son and I made this for Mom for V-Day this year. we hammered it outta 12 ga. which turned out to be a pretty heavy flower! I was worried if she didn't like it she could pummeled me wih the damn thing! I'm not sure who to give credit to for the file but I'm sure I got it from here. Thanks!

Thanks for one uping me
that looks awsome! Next time we make it we will definitly use thinner metal to bend the petals more realisticly. We had to hammer them over a sand bag to bend em. Didn't really think about it and the steel was already on the table so I figured "this will work" and it did ...took alot of work

My bad,,, I should have added that the picture was taken from a weldors' forum.
I haven't cut the file yet but it's on my list.
Here's a thought;
Cut a bunch of them and complete just a few.
Sell the cut pieces as a kit for the DIY garage guys.

Re: Valentines Gift
Hey guys
Just don't use 24 ga galvanized sheet metal used for HVAC duck work. I cut up a bunch of wind spinners yesterday for a show that I am doing in April out of 24 ga galvanized sheet metal and it cut real nice,
BUT I had to continue cleaning the galvanizing off the tip ever time one was finished cutting. It took all most 2 hr
to cut out 30 spinners should have only taken about 20 min to cut out the whole 4x10 sheet.
WOW Both Roses look nice.

That's a great rose AZFabshob, I've always wondered what it'd look like out of some thicker stuff! There is a .CDR file and a link to the original "how to" on my original post here:

AttaBoy, Scratch,,,
Gerry (Boilerman) is a great resource and a genuinely nice guy.
That's where I got the file, but it's been so long ago, I forgot who had posted it.
Thanks Gerry!
And thanks Scratch!
Now,,, go cut a few and post some pictures.
