This has been on my list to build for a long time.
Being as you have it in a 3d cad file already could you link to an iges file for the assembly?

We finally made some progress on this build. Too many projects going on all at once and this one was not at the top of the honey-do list.

I don’t mind sharing the 3D model, but the 4MB AutoCAD 3D file becomes a 36MB IGES file. I could probably shave some of that off by deleting the detailed motor from the file, but it will still be too big to attach to a post.

Most of the parts are 3/8" steel, but there are a few parts that are 1/4" and 1/8".

I would have posted the files here, but the 3D file was bigger than this forum would allow me to post.

The grinders turned out awesome and run smooth as silk. I made a few changes to the drawings based on stuff we learned during the assembly and loaded them up on my build thread on Sayberosg.com.

I tried the little circles, no luck as the kerf just would not allow the circles to be cut, skipped right past them. At this point I have the base pieces cut and in place, Need to narrow the machine in to not have such an angle on the cuts. I found making the tabs .94 inches cut down on filing for the tabs fitting the slots, yet now I worry that I may need to be super careful when I weld that it stays true. Plus I need to work on my peck for holes, it pecked all the way through. Thank you for the design and time you put into this. I have a binder full of notes, and plans.

Hey there I am close to final assembly for you version of the sayber I was wondering if you had some ballpark measurements for the shims behind the wheels just to get me in the ball park so I'm not cussing and taking it apart and putting it back together more than I have too

The DXF is missing one hole at the top where the spacers go. The top has 4 holes. Easy enough to fix just letting you know. To be clearer the top of the motor mounting plates.
