I sure would like to see some of us 'open the kimono' and disclose they prices they charge for their work.
Most importantly,,, where you are located! That makes a huge difference.

Posting prices may be an issue with folks who have local competition and I'm not suggesting anything like 'price fixing', but I think it would help all of us 'custom cutters' to know if we are under or over pricing our work.

We charge $45 for the rusty version (n WI). I also do it up painted which we charge more for as it's more labor intensive for me. I completely agree that it is nice to see what others charge to see if we're in the ballpark.

Thanks Deanne. Glad you agree.
I see that you're in Manitowoc, WI. (Google is my friend).
Here in Laramie, customers have only Walmart to compare prices to. If my price is half of what I should get, they still think it's too high.

That flower is really pretty, what did you use for a stem and for a base?

We use 5/16 fence posts from our local Fleet Farm as posts for many of our projects. Cheap and ready to go with the non swivel triangle on the bottom. Just sand them a bit so the rust chemical takes.
