Wright CNC 4x4 and hypertherm 45xp

Post by Kdward22 »

Hi all, this is my first post. I’ve had the Wright CNC 4x4 just about a year and a half and recently replaced the z axis and y motor. I used to get very tight cuts onIntricate pieces but now my cuts are too wide and on one cut the hole is off center of the file. I’ve checked the file and we adjusted the set screw and tightened the motor on the x axis because if other slip issues. I’ve cut this same file for over a year now and have not had issues until now. I’ve called Wright and he is working with us but has yet to resolve the issue. Any input would be appreciated as to what I might need to check. TIA!!

You may need to re-calibrate you table for the new motors, this is called steps per inch or MM for which system you use.
Look on YouTube there are some goo videos on ho to do. If you are using Mach their have an auto calculation method that is very simple.
