Thank you for allowing me access to this forum. I am a hobby machinist and metal fabricator out of SW Florida. I joined this forum because of my interest in DIY CNBC’s specifically plasma burn tables. 3 years ago I purchased a Baileigh PT-22 and have made a lot of projects with it. Recently the controller crapped out and a replacement is nearly $1,500.00. I am guessing I can replace the entire control system for less let alone the handheld controller. I am hoping some of you experienced guys can help point me i the right direction.

Welcome to the site! I had a similar experience with a cheap chinese table and looked at both Flashcut and C&CNC for a controller package. Ended up deciding on the Flashcut as it seemed a little more polished and user friendly although they both get great reviews here. Ended up working out for me and in the end I have decent table and still minimal investment. If your looking to go as affordable as possible C&CNC has the best pricing if memory serves me right. There's another company Extratech I see advertising up above here that may worth looking into as well. Good luck with your upgrade!

Welcome aboard there are many DIY type here, with different types of setups. I have built 9 tables completely from scratch collecting part from different vendors. Saving money is why many do the DIY thing happy to help if I can.

I am thinking I could use parts from the Baileigh but would need a computer interface. Is this correct? And if it is so, then where do I start?

You may be able to reuse some of the parts. As for where to start I would begin by contacting each of the 3 companies who support this site as they won't want to steer you wrong. Tell them what your working with and I am sure each will have a solution and a price for you to mull over.

Can you tell me where to find the 3 companies that support this site? From the adds at the top of this page I've only found one that carries control systems? I have contacted them, (Flashcut) and waiting for a response

Sure thing, the other 2 I am referring to are C&CNC https://www.candcnc.net/ and Extratech https://www.extratech.com/machine-master-ion
