new to the group and trying to learn
hello everyone i am new to the group and i am trying to learn just bought my first plasma table it is a langmuir cross fire just the small beginners table i bought sheet cam and i am trying to figure out where to design and draw parts? or if i am supposed to draw everything in sheet cam or is sheet cam primarily used to upload your pre existing parts to? glad to be apart of the group and cant wait to share some parts and ideas.

Here is a video of a very quick overview of the process.
You need to have a drawing or a file (DXF or SVG) of what you want to cut (from art type or CAD drawing). This is moved into SheetCam for you
to plan how the cutting operation is done, this is saved as a G-code (.tap or a few other names files). This is then loaded into Mach or the operational software for your table to do the actual cutting operations. The Mach screen shown is for a software/electronics package I was using at the time but is is just another screen for Mach 3.
