Cnc plasma table

Hey,
Amazing site... I'm looking at buying a cnc plasma table and going into business doing signs -garden art etc...

I have a lot of experience with steel mainly structural stuff...

I'm in Australia... Anyone got any advice for me? Biggest threat to the business i can think of is that it's so easy to have a plasma set up.... A lot of competition.

Welcome to the site! Take your time in researching a plasma table and ask a lot of questions and once you've decided be patient during the learning curve, it can be frustrating at times. Best of luck!

contact Rodw memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=22210 as he is also in Australia and is likely to be of help and is active on the LinuxCNC website and with local suppliers and table builders likely some integration of LinuxCNC + Plasmac into a table as a turnkey package

Take your time, research and read all you can before buying something (including asking others for their experience).

Welcome! Plasmacam has a very large presence in Australia but the current exchange rate makes anything imported rather pricey.
