Z axis resets zero height

Post by morgan3428 »

hello, i have a spidercut cnc table which turned into a diy nightmare. After 3 years everything works fine, its just a basic table. I drive the torch to a start point and zero all the axis, hit start and it cuts. I added a robot3t compact thc which also works fine if it is only one cut. My problem now is when the torch moves to the second cut it seems to rezero the z axis and fires well above the plate. At this point the thc doesn't react and the torch runs above the plate not cutting. I do not have the arc ok hooked up (can't figure that out). There is no ohmic sensor hooked up or any stops of any kind. I have a 5axis breakout board, ill try and include a pic.

The problem may be in my thc settings, or mach settings, or even how i'm running sheetcam. Im new to all this so I bought a complete table to avoid some of these issues but I got duped lol.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, thank you in advance.
