Hi guys,
I just wanted to say hi. New to CNC, just bought an ancient pcam 4x4 that looks like it's brand new. The previous owner passed and nobody knew how it worked. I got to snooping around on the internet and found plasmaspider. I never thought that there were so many people willing to help and give advice. I own a custom fab shop in Southside VA for over 20 yrs and am very much looking forward to working with this machine. I am NOT looking forward to dealing with all of the pcam nonsense that I have read about on here but it is what it is.
Wish me luck?
Marko

Welcome aboard, use it as a learning tool, then maybe move on to another table/system and sell it.

Marko - the first thing to do is to contact Plasmacam and submit a change of ownership form to get the table and software registered in your name. After that, join the Plasmacam Owner's Community Online Forum for access to a wealth of expertise and knowledge relating to your new table. They say to buy your last table first - with the Plasmacam table this is definitely the case.DadaShark11 wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2020 10:21 am Hi guys,

Re: Noob
Thanks for the welcome guys. I cussed at this machine for a week and FINALLY got something cut. The piece was just sitting on the table and a customer came in... "How much?" Sold it for 20 bucks! I think this machine might just work out!
