Hey everyone, my name's Ian. I'm a software developer by day & recently started getting into working with metal. While my local makerspace is moving, and the metalshop is down, I decided to build a CNC plasma table!

Hi Ian,
Welcome aboard!! I am an Electrical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer by day, and do the Plasma thing - as mostly a hobby. There is a wealth of knowledge, along with diverse opinions - at this site. I will look forward to hearing more about your proposed cnc plasma table build.

Many DIY table here, I have built a few myself. Lots of great info shared by member from different locations and design and software setups. So if you lean one way somebody here can have help. You can use the search function in the upper right to look for topics.
If you click on the bubble by the contact icon on the right you contact that selected member with the private messaging feature with a direct question.
