Hello, new guy here...Vance
I'm Vance, 52yo VP of IT at a local Montana credit union. Motorhead at heart and I love to build/modify things. I just bought a used but good condition Shopsabre Sidekick 8 with everything to get up and running. System came with a Hypertherm 85. I got it home a week and a half ago but I've been redoing my air system making sure it's dry and clean and thought while I was at it I would pull all the slats and clean the water table out completely, that alone has been a three day dirty nasty project but it's looking good. I'm almost ready to put it in it's spot and start learning. Things I still need to figure out is what I'm going to do to move and store the heavy sheets of metal. I can't wait to get started and I'm looking forward to being part of this group, everyone seems so helpful and full of knowledge. By the way, I race dirt track modifieds so if anyone has any real cool DXF files for a dirt modified I'd greatly appreciate it, or even better, a Dirt Modified fire pit DXF.

Welcome aboard, there are a few posts about material handling that may be helpful to you, you can use the search function in the upper right, change the wording to cover more searches. there are different lifting attachments and ones like this.

We just use a cherry picker and a chain with a couple of vise grips welded to it.
