9/11 Memorial
Here is the memorial piece ?Fallen Brothers? I did for my department Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue in The Dalles Oregon. We received a piece of steel from the Word Trade Center. I was given the Honor to create something using the steel and this is what I came up with. There are 343 maltase crosses welded to the base one for each firefighter who gave their life that day. I have been a career firefighter myself now for 36 years, putting all the crosses on was an emotional task.

Bodacious
I have great respect volunteer ff's it gets harder every year to keep up with all the mandates for training etc. Ours is a combo dept. But with fewer volunteers than in the past.
