Here is how I would create the "box/lines" using Inkscape.

You can use one of the font finder apps to try to find a font that is close to the one in your image. I use Paint.net to crop the image so that I have the text to use for the search. Once you find a font that is close, you can do a Google search for free fonts matching that font name.

Or if this is a one time project, perhaps simply do a manual trace of the text in your image. Use the Bezier draw tool for this.

Nice David, appreciate the tips, still haven't converted me to Inkscape yet but I am warming up to it.
