Patrick, just tried to open it Corel X3 also and had a problem. Opened fine in Corel 9. Try this cdr file, should work fine for you.

Re: Butterfly from puzzle
I pulled this file into sheetcam and it has almost 800 start points, I tried join command, no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to why it's behaving like this?trucks1948 wrote: Mon Jun 21, 2010 2:55 pm This is the puzzle i used for the butterfly.just enlarge it to whatever you want.Make sure you set the slots for the thickness metal you are using.Jim

Re: Butterfly from puzzle
Thanks , just finished resizing all the slots in inkscape . I drew a .075 square and enabled snapping then moved nodes to narrow slots . It took a long time . There has to be an better way ?

Re: Butterfly from puzzle
I used the offset, trim and fillet functions. it took me probably an hour to do the entire drawing. Not bad, considering I frequently am tracing custom lettering from a picture because sign slapper falls on it's face when attempting to do so.Dirtmotor wrote: Tue Apr 23, 2024 8:21 pm Thanks , just finished resizing all the slots in inkscape .
