Cancer Fundraiser

Post by cutnweld »

Hello everyone, I am looking for ideas of what to make to donate for a fundraiser for a neighbor who has been on a long downhill battle with cancer. Just looking for ideas, what is meaningful, etc.

I used the search feature and came up with quite a few ideas from other members here.

Hopefully this gets you onto something that interests you.

Nice job cutnweld! One thing you might consider is to take the outer shape segments of the butterfly and "stroke to path" to widen out those path segments for better visibility.

Cutnweld - It seems that many of these purchased downloads have this problem with the disconnected path segments. I only know this because I have helped other in the past with similar files. Here is the generic file without the butterfly added, just in case you wish to try some different things with it in the future. Let us know how your bench turns out.
Thanks,
David

Thanks David. I actually put the butterfly in for the cancer ribbon on it. Does it not fit? I am open to ideas

The butterfly fits perfectly!! I had assumed that you purchased the file with the center area blank and then added the butterfly. So I was just posting what I thought you had started with - but edited to link/join it to eliminate all of those disconnected path segments. In any case, I think your bench is much more attractive with the butterfly than a cancer ribbon.
