Motion pauses randomly on straight sections

Post by acourtjester »

I have been working with another DIY guy on some problems with his start up. His table is cutting now but it has a odd movement problem and I cannot come up with an answer. It looks like a mechanical problem but does it in the X and Y directions, not like slipping. When cutting is seems to pause while cutting a straight line. The video shows cutting a rectangle and it pauses on the 4 side cuts, not when changing directions!!!!
Any theories?? :Like :Like

It sounds like you are cutting four individual paths, rather than a single closed path.

Forget it he said he reloaded Mach and it now does not pause. This remote troubleshooting has its limits, he is far way from me. :HaHa :HaHa
