Heres my first proper drawing, These are usually 5/8 or thicker with a hefty handle around 3' or better.
A steel pipe gets notched and welded to the left side.
They are handy for moving heavy steel things, and great for bending and tweaking things, like a prybar but it can hook on anything that fits in the gap.

Thanks for the Share! Used a similar version for 3.5 years (as a certified structural steel welder for Marshall Erdman & Assoc. Waunakee, Wi in the mid 80's) and also 1 for lumber to tweak floor joist for nailing (needed more nowadays with the lumber we have now!) in my many years as a carpenter! Very handy tool! (led to my 3 back surgeries from not using when I should)
