So thought we did some research and purchased our first Cnc plasma table,
Ended up with an Arclight Dynamics table and from the fast talking BS salesman to the the zero Knowledge 2 hour training by the 1st time trainer, the table had computer issues after a week and needed a new computer 2 other times, now they will not service or stand behind their product so it’s time for a new one.
What’s the best tried and true table company.
The 3 sponsored company’s?
Shopsaver
Starlab
Tracker?
USA preferred,
Tech support USA
Facebook pages for support
4x8 or 4x10
Privately owned would be best
Arclight was bought out by an investment company that’s buying all the USA equipment manufacturers and getting everything in China and assembling in Illinois.
My 14 yrs role is in Ag mechanics and is good with sheetcam and qcad.
Looking for 2nd table after 1st purchase mistake.

PlasmaCAM has their new GENESIS cnc plasma table, and I do believe they offer it in 4x4 and 5x10, with a 4x8 in the works!

Plasmacam is one of my favorites! They've been around for probably over 25 years. The fiber laser tables sound interesting, but I expect the price is still around $50k for a nice entry level table.

Starlab are made in Minnesota. Watch some of their videos. It's crazy the precision they go to in their manufacturing processes. Controls are made in Texas.
No complaints from me.

You can't even get a nice TRUCK for $50K these days. That is not a lot of money, and a laser MAKES money, while a new truck is just a money pit.adbuch wrote: Sat Apr 12, 2025 1:08 am I expect the price is still around $50k for a nice entry level table.

https://www.cyriousmetalworks.com/plasma-tables/ Cyrious MetalWorks Made in Texas They will build any size you want , add any accessories you want (plate marker, remote console via tablet, oxy-fuel, and rotary pipe cutting,) PLUS deliver and set it up and demo that its working. Support is excellent . They own a commercial powder coat shop so you can get it painted a custom color if you want.
The other option you have is to retrofit that table you have with a new high performance controller and (perhaps) new motors . LOTS cheaper than 50K! Current controllers have options of Embedded Computers with extra cooling and filters for harsh environments.
