How to resize file for arcdroid ?please
Hi guys just wondered if anyone can help I’ve bought a fire pit file off Etsy but I only want to cut one part at a time(arcdroid cnc). Using Inkscape I’ve tried deleting all the parts in the file by deleting nodes leaving only one part of the fire pit but I can’t cut it out on arcdroid as I don’t know how to delete the blue segmented boundary in pic and trying to cut along random path outside its boundary, not sure where I’m going wrong can anyone help please. The white box in pic is what I’m trying to fit part I want to cut

I would start by not deleting nodes to eliminate the parts but rather delete the entire object at once. I suspect the reason you have those random white cut path lines is because there some random nodes left out there from your node deletion process. What software are you using to do your design work in the first picture you posted?

Thanks for reply I’m using Inkscape, I tried delete full parts but not sure how as it seems like it will only allow me delete by nodes rather than complete

I see. I am not good with inkscape so hopefully someone else can chime in but i suspect you may need to ungroup the objects or something so you delete pieces individually

Send me a PM with your svg or dxf file and I will create some screen shots showing you how to save the individual parts for cutting.

Here are some steps you can follow to break your main file up into individual files - one for each part. There is no node editing or node deleting involved. Let me know if you have any questions.
