Snapper "mostly finished"

Snapper for the winner of a Fishing Competition. It will be bead blasted and mounted on a nice piece of Native Timber.
Thanks to  those who offered their ideas.

That looks great! What is your preferred method of attaching the pieces together? I've used posts welded in various spots and drilled through and tacked. But that method doesn't work well with painted as the paint burns. I've also started incorporating the screw heads into the design and they look pretty good when it's bare metal.

Hi wapitismith, we actually just glued them together. Another way which is a bit sligh but works a treat if you are only using ferrous metal is to use 20mm x 3mm neodymium magnets. They stick like "shit to a blanket" .... its the only expression I know sorry. And they give a stand-off between the pieces to give some depth / 3D appearance and trust me you cant get them apart easily if you use several magnets.

Cheers
