I was just monkeying around making some gifts. Thought I would share the file. It is simple but most everyone (female) likes it.
Just add a name and bend at the notches.

This is why I like this site. Everyone is helpful and like the Bible says: It is more blessed to give than to receive. It is almost like a family
reunion where everyone gets along! Imagine that.....

Loyd,
I only know you from this group, but you seem like a true gentleman who loves what he does and is more than happy to give back to this group! Thanks for all you do.
Those name plates are really cool, but for some reason I'm not able to edit it with Corel Draw X4. I tried putting a name in it, then I grouped all the objects and used the virtual segment delete tool, but it won't work. Does anyone know How to do this? I don't know what software was used to make the file, But it seems like there is some type of compatibility issue with Corel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Pat
I don't know anything about corel I'm not smart enough to figure it out. I can't believe that such a simple drawing is so popular in my area.
I made the originals for the UPS ladies that are so helpful to us in our business and everyone that sees them goes nuts over them.
I suppose it is because their name is on it...don't know.
Anyway, thanks for all the kind words.

Thanks admin. for the cdr file and the directions. I was able to put a name on the nameplate. Is there a way that I could make other files that I downloaded from this site into cdr files? There is a lot of nice files that I haven't been able to use.
Sometimes I can't open the files with my cnc contoller. Maybe the files aren't always compatible with my system. I have tried opening some files with Corel, and then saving them as either a dxf, cmx, or cdr files, but I still can't seem to make the files work. Thanks again,
Pat
