New version of Plasmacam?

We have a Samson table with a plasmacam program at work that we bought in 2010. My son's school just bought a Samson table with plasmacam last month. My son told me about the table one morning on his way to class, and asked if I could help get the thing running. When I brought the software up I noticed that it had a bunch of drawing icons on the toolbar that the one at work didn't have. Also that under machine setting the material config tab was missing. There were a few other oddities but I can't remember them all right now. I think path conversion tab was missing also. Did they install the software incorrectly? Is this a new version? How do I get around these obstacles?
