Importing Jpeg & BMP Files - help with settings

Hey folks,
once again I found myself scratching my head last night when I was attempting to import / convert some Jpeg / BMP files.

Typically speaking I try to deal solely with black and white images (to avoid a couple of steps).

There are five boxes or so you can put values in to .... this is where my confusion is.

Have any of you got any tips 'n tricks for what these values should be set at? I went through the Help video presentation and there was NO mention of what these should be.

Roger, are you using Design Edge and what version do you have? If you use DE it should all be in the video manual "Chapter 6", "File command", "Import" section? I found it very useful. Craig Johnson
