Error: THC Torch tip voltage outside range
I'm doing the first cuts on my new machine. Mach3 software and Hypertherm Powermax65. I used the cut profile that came with my table for 3/16" steel and 65 amp. It's cutting like halfway through the metal on straight lines but it can cut circles just fine. Then suddenly it stops and gives the error message above. The Mach3 screen does not show the volts or amps the machine is running at. On the last trial run, the XYZ axis continued to run for a second or 2 even though the machine was not cutting. The ground is clamped to one of the slats.

Increasing air pressure to 110 psi made the error go away. I still do not see the instantaneous voltage the machine has throughout the cut on Mach3 though. Until then I can't be sure of the reason for my low quality cuts I'm getting.

keep air pressure as high as you can get it up to 135 psi . you cant have too much air . not enough causes problems.
I find you get a way better cut if you put the ground clamp on the metal.
you have something wrong if youre volts aren't showing up. I cant help with that
