sometime when I download a drawing and try to open it the file is discared I have to press enter to close out auto cad 2004

Download & install Draftsight . . . It is free & will open files when AutoCAD won't . . .
I have AutoCAD LT 2014 & sometimes I find DXFs & DWGs AutoCAD will not open.
If it was not created in AutoCAD there is always a chance AutoCAD will not open it.
They are funny like that at AutoDesk . . .
