Spur Gear Software sprockets - Fantastic

Post by nuno115 »

Hello, just wanted to share a website and software that I found (took me days).
I am making a tumbling/cleaning machine and was having a hard time finding spur gears since I need a use reduction of speed. after 2 days of search I found this website http://woodgears.ca/gear_cutting/template.html
You can make free spur gears there, or you can also buy the fantastic and cheap software(about $26).
The diference is that the software lets you save in DXF while the free website only lets you print or save to PLT I think. I found more options on the software and the price was not very expensive. So there you go, no more excuses on spur gears.

For your information this is another amazing software that I found http://gearotic.com/ -- The only reason why I did not buy it was because of the price - over 120.00. But its just incomparable of what you can create, download and try it free.

Since I am at it, here is the fantastic and free sprocket creator - http://www.idleamusements.com/?page_id=54

Ok my friends enjoy and keep you fingers away from those working gears.

Once I finish my machine I will share all the details on the sharing forum.
