How to cut text on CNC?

Currently I trace out fonts on autocad. I'm wanting a bit more efficiency. Is there any software that will convert fonts to a cuttable .dxf? I'm not completely tech savvy but I'm learning. Thanks for any advice.

you could download Inkscape (free) and type out your letters and then do object to path and save that to DXF done!

In Autocad, download the Express Tools add on. It comes with most install discs. You have to use shp font files but then using Express Tools, Text, Eplode text it will turn the text into lines. Some work good, others get close but still require some cleanup but better than tracing.

Corel Draw. Just type out what you want, then export to DXF. Depending on the font, you may need to edit to fix drops and such.
