Here is a Scotch brite wheel attachment I made for brushing SS and aluminum. I have used it a few times on large signs and it works great. The wheel is a floor "cut and polish" type in a "7A" grit, I would say it is a medium scotch brite or maybe a 600-800 grit. I moved the location of the drill motor to over the attachment to balance the load and use the cut oxy signal to start in using mach3
Do you think this roll you are using would work as well on mild steel. I would like to do the same finish with straight lines running the length of the oart.

I was contacted by 3M sales today about my inquire for price and location of a wheel like shown in the start of this post.
OMG no way I could afford one like that, custom made more then the cost of a table and plasma.
However a 2" wide 8" diameter wheel to use on a bench grinder is less them $100.
