Fire Pit/Cooking Goodies Sharing Thread
I'm just tossing this out their to see if their is any interest in having one thread with everyone's fire pit files their willing to share or have previously uploaded on a separate posting. Just thought it would be kinda cool to have one thread with all of the pits and cooking goodies in it since cooler weather is right around the corner. Here are a few to start it off, lets see if anyone else is willing to play

Re: Fire Pit/Cooking Goodies Sharing Thread
Thanks for the post... I love the idea of rolling up a bunch of files into one general heading like this.... I've somewhat organized my file structure on my thumb drives into broad categories like this and it really helps finding files, especially when you haven't used one in a while, and there's hundreds of files to wade through!

Re: Fire Pit/Cooking Goodies Sharing Thread
I might as well post it here, as an FYI for those of us who like to burn things, I made a 36" out of 3/16" and I haven't had it for a year yet and I've warped the sides pretty good from the heat.

Re: Fire Pit/Cooking Goodies Sharing Thread
Here are a couple of rolled ring designs I've done over the years.
These are set up to cut from 5'x10' sheets and then just roll to diameter (~37") and weld the seam. You can adjust them however you like to fit your sheet size.

Re: Fire Pit/Cooking Goodies Sharing Thread
You guys are very welcome for my files and I appreciate the others being shared as well.... If we can continue to make this thread roll with new files uploaded to it I will continue to share more of mine. I have lots of off the wall fire pits and cooking goodies. I honestly think its a healthy way to conduct ourselves in he form of sharing ideas and files. If you pick up something new you have never thought of then this thread was a success.

Re: Fire Pit/Cooking Goodies Sharing Thread
Here is a grill top I did awhile back for a buddy to replace a rusted one on his Weber. I cut it from 3/16 stainless steel. Just tack weld the handles in the upright position. I reversed the logo so it would be correct if seared on a burger.

Re: Fire Pit/Cooking Goodies Sharing Thread
Just an FYI on creating the files for the rolled fire rings, you need to leave enough material top and bottom so that they will hold their shape and be sturdy. It helps to leave as much material as you possibly can and still get the design idea across. Don't ask me how I know this!
