That only rotates by the number of degrees entered. If I've understood it correctly he wants to be able to flip it over "onto the other side".Corfabrication wrote:Click mouse on lower right corner where it shows degrees and enter a number, then click the part
OTHill, I'm not sure what you mean by, "all I get is a rotate with the mirror tool".
The mirror tickboxes (lower right corner) can be used to flip the part. Look at the images and see the tick boxes next to "Mirror".
The images are:
NO FLIP - part as initially brought into Sheetcam
FLIP X - mirrored (FLIPPED) in horizontal (X) direction
FLIP Y - mirrored in vertical (Y) direction
FLIP X AND Y - mirrored in both horizontal and vertical directions
Hope that helps,
Keith.

Yes like Keith says you need to use the mirror tick boxes, but you can't do it on the same part after duplicating it, you can bring in another copy of the part then use the flip to get a left and right hand.

Thanks all of you. Sean you had the right answer. I was trying to flip a duplicate and that's why it didn't work. Thanks again.Allan
