Superman Truck Rack

Post by elkriverfab »

I had a customer that wanted me to build a superman truck rack for his pickup.

Here are a few photos of it before being powder coated black.

Seven light mounts forward, two to the back, one on each side (left and right), two antenna mounts and two tie down points.

Hope he factored in a high output alternator :o

Just thought I would share .:D

Thanks......

It is made from 1 inch X 2 inch rectangular tubing (heavy wall).

The bed mounts and all other mounting tabs are made from 1/8 plate, the superman logo was cut from 14 gauge.

Ran a flap disc over it so the powder coating guy could sand blast it real quick without having to do a lot of clean up.

Hay Shawn Both pcs looks great. You do a lot of good work. I am just starting using a CNC that is (IF I can keep my pc running) I have done a lot of fabrication and I got the CNC to mix in the art work in with the Design for the iron furniture that I am doing. We got the PC up and running on Saturday morning and it quit Saturday afternoon. I disconnected everything on Sunday and reloaded the PC program and then hooked everthing back up. I went through the set up and it started cutting ok. The only thing that concerns me is that the voltage is 1.23v. I think that is a little high? :?: Oh well I hope that everything keeps working ok.
