Re: Mach 3 help
You can scroll back up through the G code watching the torch travel on the screen.
What I do is, when I get to the point where it cut out I continue to scroll up until I get to the last "M05" and go one or two lines above it and then hit "Set Next Line"
This will take it to near the end of the previous cut (but the torch wont be firing) and will then rapid to the cut where the fault occurred and touch off and run so your torch height will be correct. If you don't want the torch to fire until further into that path just hit the "torch on" button and then hit it again when you want it to fire.
You can also use the "Run from Here" instead of "Set Next Line" but then the G code will run through to reset which can take a while and stop at that point and you will also have to zero your Z.

Re: Mach 3 help
Just an FYI.
If you are running a floating head and using G-code to zero it, the "Run from here" function in Mach3 will not work. You will need to use the "set next line" function as described above.

But you can manually zero the Z the same as you would the X or Y if you were indexing on a sheet.
Just bring the torch to touch the material zero, raise to the set cut height and run.
If you are on a long cut and want to restart part way along go to a bit before where you want to start cutting, with the cut height set hit "RUN" and then "Torch On" when you get to the point you want the cutting to start, then THC will take over.
