Hi All, Looking to start learning how to trace photos. Wondering what the best software is for the job, I know everyone has their own preference. I have an older version of Corel draw X4, and Inkscape I purchased when I built my plasma table, then there is also Adobe Illustrator. Is one easier than the other to learn ? This would be plasma cutting for the most part.
Thanks Ray

Re: Best Software for Tracing
I'm just learning to use x7 corel and use torchmate for other tracing. What I found is my vinyl cutter you can download their software for free, it's silhouette is the company. Their trace feature (for images and stickers) works amazing. However I haven't figured out a way to convert their .studio3 file to dxf.
Maybe look into that, maybe illustrator can do it?
