I recommend you join the Plasmacam Owners Community.....there are thousands of owners....and I'm sure you would have the best chance of finding the box there. Go to http://www.plasmacam.com , click on owners community, have your 98Z serial number ready....as you need it to post on the site. Jim Colt

Can't you just purchase one from PlasmaCam? Or are they abandoning their 98-Z support?

A guy I know got one back in 1998 and has ran he heck out of the thing ever since (about 18 yrs). He thinks its definitely time to upgrade. The new dhc2 can do a lot more than the old 98z. As far as I know, you can still get things like the 98-z control boxes repaired. As for other parts, I'd recommend checking with the boys in tech support. Or check the parts price list that is specific to the 98-z on the owners community.
