CandCNC MACH3 Sheetcam THC issue

Had my table running since 2012. It's been almost flawless. Recently replaced My PC with another unit and now have a new strange issue.

My table motion pauses for a split second ever time there is a THC on/off command. The only way i have found to eliminate this is to either Disable THC control in the Tool in sheetcam or use the MP3000-DTHCII-DCC+scriber6 (instead of my old post MP3000-DTHCII-DCC-HyT+scriber-8. Using S10 and S20 in the post variables for THC on/off) With either of these situations My THC is completely disabled. all it will do is fire the torch not raise or lower with the material.

So Gurus of the CNC - Why is this happening and what can I do?

I have had this issue many times. I find that rebooting the entire system, (EVERYTHING) cures it.

Did you reinstall the latest Mach version from Candcnc website?

I had odd problem with Mach 3 there is a stable version and the newer one is not. I think it is 066 is good 067 is not.

In MACH3 releases prior to 066 (067 from us) the "S" command caused a motion pause (could not be used in a motion string)
The solution is to make sure you are on 066 off the MACH site or 067 of candCNC site. I would also make a backup of the MACH3 folder then use the Master Installer X legacy installer and it will update any plugins or screen sets

My Mach "about" screen lists R3.043.077 - Should I download 67 from CandCNC site, and be using it instead?

So good news! updated to the 067 version of mach and it works great! thanks TomClaude
