Bow Hunter Wind Spinner
Well my first wind spinner. But man have way to much slag all the time.

very creative What type machine? what gauge metal? what cut speed are you using.have made lots my self and the temp of the metal with close cut lines can give off lots of slag or dross. will try to help if i can

I cut mine using alternate sides to cut, back & forth. It moves the cutting head a lot, but that and a squirt bottle of water sure cuts down on the HAZ.

14ga metal. Moving around 120 inches a min at 40 amps. The machine is a Practial cnc which they are out of buiness now. It seam to work very well considering all the storys that I have herd on this form. Its about 5 years old. My soft limit do not work and ether does my THC. I use a Hypertherm 1000.

Looks great Patrick, great work thanks for sharing. You commented on your high amounts of slag, I use fine tip consumables on my powermax 600 and I find it cuts the best at 66 ipm in hot rolled 14ga. thanks again for sharing...
