Stuck my neck out a bit with this one...
As many of you may not know, or care, the Capitol Christmas Tree this year is from Wyoming - the first time ever.
The tree is looping through the state stopping at a few larger cities for a little PR and photo-op for the local politicos. It will be here tomorrow.
I was asked to make the Official Laramie Ornament to be presented by our Mayor to the head of the US Forest Service. One got a special treatment; vinyl lettering, some ribbon and a silk pine needle sprig. Six more for the tree. And 50 more for sale. Numbered, with a little commemorative card attached.
Tomorrow, they should be a hot item - or not. The next day they will be dust collectors.
The tree/ceremony will be at the Wyoming Territorial Prison, and the director has offered a table in the gift store to sell the things. It's forcasted to be in the 30's, so inside is a nice place to be.
Wish me luck.

The tree arrived on time.
Then the blizzard hit. Only lasted for 45 minutes and the people here are used to it. There were about 200 people for the ceremony.
Only 15 of the 40 I had were sold. One customer bought 5 of them. Disappointed that there were only 11 people interested.
This piece is 9" tall, 16ga cold rolled steel and powder coated. The commemorative tags were about $.45 each.
Keeping in mind that these are a limited and numbered edition, what would you cutters charge to make 50 of them?
